Does anyone know the percentage of Harvard undergrads who end up at the nation's top grad schools (Harvard, Princeton, MIT, Yale, Stanford, among others)?

You're never going to find a published stat that combines a hard datapoint (percentage) with a nebulous concept (what is the cutoff for a 'top' grad school?). Of those who choose to go to grad school, though, I get the impression that it's pretty high.

It would be hard to do, particularly as some take multiple years off before going to grad school. The answer is that if you do well at Harvard your chances are good of going on to a good grad school.

What you can do is look at the student population at various grad schools that YOU consider top, and see whether students from the colleges you're interested in frequently wind up there. A lot of individual graduate programs do publish this information.
