@KDW¨ yeah… i´m in spain right now… a lot of fun!! but can´t stop thinking about whether or not i´m gonna get back to the states and find a rejection or an acceptance in the mailbox. are you an international applicant? or just out of the country also?

well i hope for all of our sakes that we are accepted! it would be interesting to know… did all of you apply to CLAS? i´m clas undecided.

@rokypal123 - I ve never been to Spain. wow…that nice!
Im an international applicant. I think I am the only international who is not descided yet.

i hope you guys get in! did you guys apply to college of letters arts and sciences? i think there might be a correlation because the last decisions are usually made for clas. but who really knows i guess… we´ll just have to wait and see. :/

I am international as well! got the oasis link too…im hoping they decided to release our decisions last and pray they are acceptances! But who knows.

ahhhh so nervous i just want the mail to come

i applied to CLAS and i just got the oasis link too…

but seeing that all of us who havent heard from USC and only just got the oasis link… i am not too sure if this is a good sign… i think it may just mean rejection… but then again i have been really pessimistic about USC for a while now… even though its my number one choice… i dont think i made it but…

but i dunnooo… guess we gotta wait and see… but if anyone does hear anything… please do post…

at this point my thinking is that at least it´s better to not have heard yet and to get these updates today… instead of recieving rejections with most everyone else last friday/saturday. you never know until you get something… this happening so late could mean that we (over the weekend) moved on to another review because they liked our applications (wishful thinking? haha)…anyway its not worth it to stress too much… we should just hope for the best, at least we´re still in the game whereas a lot of other people have already been outright rejected. just my two cents.

well i think the reason almost everyone in this thread is for CLAS with this update is because those people who applied to other schools like SCA for instance can be rejected from the school they applied to but still accepted to the College (which is just short for CLAS)… i was told this by my tour guide last month at USC. so it would make sense for one last round to go out at the end, once they´ve combined the regular CLAS applicants (most of us) and the rejects from other schools (rejects who yet, still are moving on to another review to possibly be accepted to the CLAS). There´s no way they could have a fair admission process without combining these two groups of applicants into one pool at the very end and reviewing them at the same time… which is what gives me a little hope because that would mean our apps survived the earlier reviews and just underwent a final review where a decision was made. then again, don´t want to unecessarily get everyone´s hopes up. but it would seem that this is the logical answer… and that anyone who has already been accepted to CLAS (earlier this month or all the way back in Jan./Feb.) simply had superb/almost perfect stats and/or a very compelling app as a whole.

USC does not do waitlist. they do spring admission (2010)… and then depending on how many people accept there offer of admission for fall they use spring admits as a waitlist and offer fall admission if not enough end up coming
