<p>It was still a bit frustrating because it took more than 20 minutes to get through and then we were dropped off twice. When we received the same error message as last night we almost quit. But then tried one more time and things worked flawlessly. </p>
<p>I think there are rooms being held back (understandably.) This because a four room suite would list only two other names but only have one room available.</p>
<p>We’re happy with Lakeside West 3rd floor. I hope everyone got their choice or something close to it. I don’t know if we’ll be shopping around for a different room or not as summer progresses but I’m glad this is behind us. </p>

<p>Glad to hear you got a good room Student. I know it’s a big relief just to finally get a spot in any of the dorms you want.</p>
<p>It can’t hurt to continue looking throughout the summer though if you’d prefer a different dorm or floor. Your selection remains intact until you click on the “reserve this room for me” button. You won’t lose your current spot just by looking.</p>

<p>Somehow we managed to find open 2 slots in Lakeside West for DS and his friend. Did anyone notice that Ridgecrest West did not come up as an honors dorm? I thought it was supposed to be available for honors but only Ridgecrest South (North Tower) which of course had no spaces came up on my selection list.</p>

<p>Hmmm… Ridgecrest West is listed as Honors on the website. Did you call and ask about it?</p>
<p>No I didn’t call. At the time I was so focused on grabbing that 2 person slot and getting all the info entered correctly. I did go search around afterward to see what else was available and Ridgercrest West never came up as an option. </p>
<p>For Mike-I called and asked about having someone pull you in to the room so you can get an earlier slot and they told me that even though someone pulls you into a room you are not eligible to switch until your regular date. We didn’t try it but that was the answer they gave.</p>
<p>maybe Ridgecrest West is totally full - it was getting there when last we checked.</p>
