Who got accepted to Early Decision?

A lot of my friends got deferred for Miami's early decision and I was wondering what was everyones stats that did get accepted. I applied for Early Action and I am nervous I won't get in. I have a 28 ACT and 3.9 unweighted gpa with a lot of honors and ap classes.

My S got accepted!!! ED to FSB with a 30 ACT, 3.5 gpa, AP Scholar (8 AP), NHS, 3 years Chines/3 years latin, and very strong extra curriculars, leadership and essay and 4 years varsity for Swimming and Lacrosse and captain of both. he founded and was pres. of model UN for 3 years. Good luck, I think you should be right in the mix for sure!

Kat, I would be very surprised if you don’t get accepted. Your stats are strong enough for every Miami U program, including FSB. The average stats of the fall 2014 incoming Miami class across all majors were about a 3.7 GPA and 28 ACT; and you fit comfortably in the middle 50% for FSB, if that’s your goal. I think you are also in a solid position for merit aid.

What about EA? How were you notified? Mail or electronically?

EA decisions don’t come out until Feburary 1 and you can find out through the application status on your Miami account. @MOMILtcu‌

S applied on Nov 15 EA. Got notified by mail today.

@ap1170 - would you mind letting us know what your son’s stats were? My D is also awaiting an EA decision and we are hopeful, based on information garnered about some of Class of 2014 EA acceptances coming before Christmas last year, that she might be among the lucky ones.

I got a letter in the mail yesterday with my acceptance. I applied through Common App and did not specify EA. I also got an email last night saying my status changed. OOS, Indiana.

Just got accepted as well for Early Action!!

@ILMom13579- In State ACT 30 , GPA 4.0+ with 6 AP, EC include NHS, HS football team

Thanks @ap1170 - my D did get her acceptance online as well as the mailed packet this week. We’re excited…looking forward to receiving the FA report to see if this school makes the cut finance-wise.

My D was accepted. Does anyone know when she will receive official scholarship information?
