Who got accepted to one of their top choices with BAD senior grades? (1st term)

This term I did BAD. Yes, BAD. I am so disappointed. With college admission, and some personal reasons, my grades dropped a LOT this semaster. In the previous years I had a 92~93 UW GPA. But this term I would get an 88~91 UW GPA, with the most rigorous courseload. What should I expect? Is it going to totally ruin my chances? My top choice is Cornell CALS and NYU CAS.... I'm scared :/

Nobody has ever gotten accepted to one of their top choices with bad senior grades.

Ever.

It’s 4 points lower?!?! Your the worst.

^But won’t they think that I’m slacking off? That’s what I’m worried about.

I agree. If your not getting F’s then calm down Bud.
I slipped this marking period in math but I’m not sweating it as I have 2 more marking periods to get back to an A.

These are bad grades/mine -
English - 70ish
Physics - 75ish
Pre-calc - need a 99 on final to pass did first half today and got it all right so Im hoping tomorrow goes well.
Economics - 78ish - teacher is a spic and hates white people and I told her that
Gym - 98ish
Engineering - 95ish

But aren’t senior grades (the fall term, not the spring term) as important as my junior/soph grades?

No, I don’t think they are included in your Gpa because they are not official until the end of the year but if you fail everything then you won’t get accepted but if you stay in the 80’s your fine.

Senior year— Slack off, come on! Then people who don’t slack off can have a better chance of getting in. Yes, slack off. Better for us, sucks for you.

Actually, 70s are too high. You need like below 60 or else the colleges will reject you.

I’d appreciate it if you didn’t refer to your teacher as a ‘spic’. It’s offensive. Learn some etiquette.
