Then, if you want to see which CC members got into, say, Columbia, just go to the “Search” page and select the college and status (e.g., “Accepted”) to look for. You can view the Stats Profile or the CC profile of a member, read their posts, send them a PM, etc.
Note that in your Stats Profile, you can always change, hide, or delete any content.
By the way, there’s a known problem with inputting the EC text boxes, so don’t worry about them. The rest of the fields work normally.
I know the vast majority of applicants are high school seniors but as college admissions to top universities become lower each year, I think more people will turn to applying transfer to their dream school. Just throwing an idea out there - it could be very helpful if the stats profiles were expanded to include transfer applicants. With that said, the stat profiles really don’t need much improving and are already a great feature of CC.
Interesting idea, easton, we’ll see if we can do that.
I like your idea too, QNYerygrl, but I think the volume of transfer applicants to any individual school is quite low, and also there’s a huge amount of year-to-year variation on transfer acceptance rates. Maybe we could add a “transfer applicant” flag to the profile?

As a parent, I “represent” two kids. I only have one CC name. I input S#2’s results for this year but have posted a ton in the past about S#1’s schools/issues and so on. There’s no way to post two kids’ results for one screen name. :/

Merit money played a significant role in why S#2 will be attending the school chosen, but there’s no way to communicate that. Perhaps add a field for scholarships/grants, through a “tick” box for “scholarship” yes/no, Merit or need $ boxes, and/or a text box to type in amount of money awarded would be great!

Please add “The College of New Jersey” to the drop down box? Thanks!

Once a search is completed, it appears to be listed in order of submission, which isn’t too helpful to those who are reading the list. Maybe list by admission status or at least alphabetical order of the posters? As it is, it’s sort of a mish-mash.
