I did...if it didnt say anything about merit scholarships in the envelope does that mean i didnt get any?

My D is waiting for a letter. When did you apply to Quinnipiac?

october...what were her main stats?

Her stats were:
GPA: 3.7 UW, 4.2 W, 97.4 out of 100
Rank: 30 out of 616 (top 5%)
SAT: 1100 (old), 1670 (new)

tennis, Congrats! My S got in too.

she'll get in...her sat's dont match her other stats, why is that?

NorthEastMom...thanks, how hard is it to get into...QU like give me a school with the same kind of students and stats...I know its pretty hard i just wanna c lol to make me happy

Well the ave. sat range is 510-590v, and 520-600m. Honestly, I don't think it is that hard to get in, but the applicant pool gets stronger every year. Suny Albany is in this range- just one example. There are many schools in this sat range. Quinnipiac accepts 59% male and 52% of female applicants.

tennis, my D has worked hard throughout high school and has taken several APs and advanced courses in major subjects. She also got straight A's in her freshman & soph years. But for some reason she doesn't do too well (although above average) on standardized tests. I also don't think she prepared herself too well for the SAT's. However, I know that Quinnipiac is one of the schools she really liked (we visited last Feb.) and hopes to get accepted. If she is accepted, I don't think she would qualify for any merit scholarships, though.

depend most likely on what she wants to study i heard the physical therapy and nursing majors r hard to get into... oh and sorry if i offended you/your d i didnt mean to i just noticed a difference...:-)

tennis, didn't take any offense to your question. Hopefully she will hear soon from Quinnipiac, maybe within the next week or two. She will be majoring in Psychology. By the way, since you were accepted, do you mind if I ask what your stats were? Thanks

Is it too late for someone to apply?

ree, I would call admissions and ask. They are a rolling decision school so they evaluate applicants for admission as they receive their completed applications. They continue until their class is full. If you are applying for physical therapy or the physician's assistant program their deadline was December 1. For other programs I think it is Feb.1.

Well its a good thing im not applying to either of those. I plan to be biochemistry/premed

hey! when did u all start getting ur admission decisions, its rolling right?

thnx =]

My S heard December 12th.

okay thnx. s? student lol

No, S on cc is shorthand for son. Some parents type in DS (meaning dear son- kind of sweet I think).

oh haha im new..thnx for ur anwser! good luck to your son =]
