Who got into penn with less than 2100 sat?!

Please, I only really want to hear from people who actually got ACCEPTED with an SAT score in the 1800-2100 range, or know someone who has gotten accepted with those scores. If so, what were your/their stats like?

Also, do SAT 2's really matter? If your SAT 2's were 650's would that really hurt your chances?

Thank you!

My friend got in with a 2000 somethings sat score, but she had good ec’s, played a unique sport, is a musician, bilingual… and it also didn’t hurt that her father is one of the economics professors.

4 people from my school got in with a sub 2000 SAT in the last 8 years. Granted, I’m positive 3 of them were recruited athletes and I’m not sure about the 4th, so he/she may or may not have been recruited.

If you have a high GPA, then your SAT II’s suggest that you have some grade inflation at your school.

As a legacy or a URM it is definitely possible to get in with a sub 2100. With 650 range SAT IIs however, I would say unless you have cured cancer your odds are not very good. Especially if you are white or asian.
