Who got Summer Housing in Carlyle Court?

So I'm a rising senior at Carnegie Mellon, but I'm interning at Google in NYC this summer. My friend and I applied for NYU housing and got Carlyle Court. Corporate housing was offered to us, but we figured the college environment and location might make for a more fun and exciting summer.

Who else got or has had summer housing around Union Square? Will it actually be a good time? How's Palladium gym? Anything in particular I should expect?

Thanks!

Depending on who you live with, it’s not always greatest place to live.

The layout is a one bedroom with apartment, with a kitchen and a bathroom. Two people live in the bedroom and two people living in what was, at one point, the living room. The kitchen is open to the living room, which means in the morning, if people are awake before you and want breakfast, they’re going to wake you up too.

The location of Carlyle is great though. USq is a wonderful place to be - plenty of places to eat, things to do, the subway station is literally right in front of the building.

My D lived in Carlyle this year and has loved it. Great location. If you have a choice take the side of the suite without the kitchen. Palladium gym is great and close for dining as well. Close to grocery stores, pharmacies, all the essentials.

This is from 2011, but lots of good information:
