<p>It’d be nice if you guys tell us what major you guys are applying into and the ethnic background of both, but IMO with what you guys shared…</p>
<p>candidate 2 wins by a slight margin, although I give you both low to med. chances of any of the above, depending on the major you’re applying to.</p>
<p>1 has the better standardized test scores, but 2, even though he/she bombed the sat 2’s, makes up for it in awards, and course rigidity. And to candidate 1: don’t put that you only worked June 08 to Dec 08; sorta gives the impression of lack of determination and consistency. In your actual apps, it will come down to the essays to say who will get in for sure.</p>
<p>A suggestion to both, get some more athletic awards or more participation. Good luck to both!</p>
