Who has an active email address under...?

^ it’s active but doesn’t mean it’s active on Emory"s system yet!! We are not yet registered. we are just prepared to be register… big difference!

FYI - S applied early decision to Oxford and reg. decision to Emory - He received Oxford acceptance over a month ago and was given an Emory email account at that time and was sent a package of information including how to download “first class” which is the email server used. Now he has an active email account under *@emory.edu

To find out if your kid has been accepted into Oxford, go to Opus, look under admissions and click on read online decision. If formally accepted then the decision letter would be there.

Although, one school in essence, there are two different administrations at work here and they are not always on the same time schedule. Especially since a student could opt for various early/regular decision combinations and for various scholarship competitions.

^ i went to admission but there are no letters!!

I received an e-mail address also. I didn’t apply through Questbridge, but I did apply to both Emory and Oxford.

I REALLY hope this is good news!!!

Oh, and my name starts with a B, if that matters. I really want to call up the admissions office on Monday and ask if it means anything… but I’m frightened at the same time. T_T

No email address for me… bad news?

Did anyone who did NOT apply to Oxford get an email address?

It looks like Oxford is done making their decisions and Emory is not. The only people with active email addresses are people who got into at least Oxford, if not both Oxford and Emory. I don’t think having an email address tells you anything about the status of your EMORY application; it might only indicate acceptance to Oxford.

This is just a guess, though.

if anyone who ONLY applied to Emory has a campus email address please let us know - thanks

When I sign into OPUS, I see a an email address- myname@emory.edu/email
I applied to both Oxford and Emory…there definitely seems to be a relationship between applying to both schools and getting an email address.
I am trying to stay calm because these smalls sign usually are not as big of a deal as we make them out to be.

Good luck to everyone!!! 13 days left ahhh

It means you got into oxford. congratulations.

^why are you saying that??? maybe into both!

Well, since acceptance into Oxford doesnt equal rejection from emory college, you’re right, possibly both.
