WHO HAS CALLED for an interview?

Wow, I would be so nervous if I were you too! But don't stress too much, he's probably a very smart man and hopefully he can give you some very good advice and insight :)

Kath I'm in the same exact situation. My regional ASC director either never picks up her phone or has it set to go automatically to voicemail, because I've called again and again in the past few days and s/he's never there.

I think I'm going to give it one more go this afternoon and if there's still no answer I'll just give up. There are people that get in without interviews, after all.

I called and left a message last Monday and haven't gotten a call back. Of course, my Eli letter didn't come till the Friday before and somehow I missed that the number was there, until Monday.

I haven't called back. I know there are alumni in my area, but there aren't any affiliated with my school, at least not for years and years. And not many kids from my area, especially my school district, apply to Yale.

I just had my interview, it actually went great. He was a really nice guy and I was able to eloquently answer his questions. At the end he said he thought I had a "great chance of getting in." He and my dad talked for about 15 minutes' it turns out my dad had cases in front of him. He said he was sending in my recommendation as soon as I left, as soon as he does my Yale application is officially complete (hurray!).

The local alumni coordinator person called me back and left a message last night. (I called a week ago and left a message). He also emailed me today. Basically he asked if I'd heard from an interviewer and asked me to call him back, so we can set things up in the next couple days. It's a little nerve-wracking, I was just about resigned to not getting one.
