<p>They weren’t that specific, but I would assume it’s different days; if they were done with all the decisions they would’ve sent the actual letters out already.</p>

<p>i haven’t gotten one either. i’m FREAKING out. i really hope the emails coming out in waves thing is true… NYU has been my dream school since i was seven. i’m really well rounded, i thought i had a shot. i REALLY hope i still do. i’m too afraid to call admissions, though! :(</p>

The ambasor said " Yes if u dont receive the e-mail, it is likely that u don’t get accepted…" She said they r just starting to send thou. But i have a feeling that it is the only wave since many ppl here have already got thiers. I dont know what to say/think anymore…:(</p>

<p>shikes, this person looks like a fake. first of all, they are clearly over-exaggerating and they can’t even spell ambassador. I think we are going to be fine. Unfortunately, the offices are closed until MONDAY!!! this is gonna kill me!!! On monday, we are going to call and get a legit answer.</p>
<p>I asked her first. I said “I didn’t receive an email. Does that mean I didn’t get accepted?”. She said yes( i think it means No email->not accpeted) but told me not to worry because they just started sending out. It was about 4 eastern time. Then i tried to call again to ask whether they r gonna send it next week or not but the office was closed( after 5…). Sry if my English is not clear
And sry i m not a fake …I am an international student. I REALLY hope they send more email just like everyone else. Please dont think badly about me …</p>
<p>Perhaps she was saying (in the first part of the conversation) that if you haven’t received the email yet, that you can’t YET tell if you’re accepted? (I find it difficult to believe that a student ambassador would be permitted to tell callers they’re not accepted if they didn’t get an email.) That’s the only way the second part of the conversation (that emails are still going out) makes any sense!</p>
