Who HAS NOT recieved an e-mail?

it’s not by regions, but they come in waves. they’re still comng i tink.

uhhh they better be… making me nervous

I didn’t get an e-mail yet and I applied to CAS. But I know it’s a reach. 1890 SAT but excellent EC’s-senior class president, ambassador, etc. From Atlanta, GA. My hopes are low, but this is my dream school. I’ve broken down already today because a good friend of mine got his letter today and has a lower SAT but higher GPA (but hardly any EC’s). I don’t know what to think…but this group is giving me hope…crossing my fingers that it’s not false hope.

still no email for me…=(
im crossing my fingers for all of us who haven’t received emails yet and who really want to go to NYU next year.
keeping positive thoughts.
anyone know when the next wave is coming out? or if they are even doing it by waves?

My classmate got an email about 5 and a half hours ago so I think they’re not really in batches. More like a few every day

I haven’t gotten one yet. 2170 SAT I, 800/700/710 SAT IIs, two 5 on AP tests (which I sent), and a 3.8 GPA (it’s higher now but NYU didn’t see my midyear report). Pretty good ECs. I used to think NYU wasn’t that big of a reach for me, but I just don’t know what to think anymore. :////

^Well, you obviously have a better chance than I do.

I’m in Alaska and I got an email, and there are people in NY who got emails, so I don’t think it’s by region… (didn’t mean to be snobby by saying this, just pointing out, it might have nothing to do with anything and just order of review, because my last name it pretty far back there too.) Don’t give up hope my friends!

my friend just called me and blew out my eardrum, she got her email about ten minutes ago. we’re both in texas, but i got my email at one in the morning. shes getting hers at 6.30 pm. dont lose hope! :)

still no word for me! I am still hopeful though :)

I am still waiting for mine.
Good luck to everyone and me.

I’m still waiting too. Let’s hang in there!

im so nervous! a friend of mine got one yesterday evening, but im hoping its in batches or by region as she lives 1100 miles away from me :/

stripedpolkadots is it possible that you and your friend received your emails at the same time, or around the same time, and your friend just happened to check her email later then you?.. does anyone else think they might have a similar case?

Do in-state applicants get the e-mail?

WOW, this whole email thing is making me **** my pants. I haven’t gotten one yet and most people on here are like hella excited about the whole email thing. But after reading some of your posts I’m pretty hopeful. Being a refugee and being the first person going to college in your family is a hard challenge for me. By getting into NYU is my way of making my dad proud of me, for the first time. I really hope all of us on here get in. I’m gonna pray 2nite…haha Good luck to you…yea you reading this rite now. Good luck buddy…

Good luck to you too Rapden!

Do in state applicants get the e-mail?

I think that I saw someone post in one of these threads that they got one an email in NY. I’m also from NY and still holding out on hope. Good luck to all of you as well!

Dang, haha. I actually live right in the city, so I don’t see why I would get the e-mail.

I’m still hoping for one though :P.
