<p>I have always been thinking that I am underqualified for most of the schools I applied( basically b/c of my low SAT and my personality…) I gave up yesterday and told my parents and friends that I didn’t make it to NYU. My best friend got into an IVy and other prestigious schools so now I feel inferior walking next to her. But this morning I woke up (after a very depressing night) and realized that there are actually nothing that I have to give up. There are chances. So I am still waiting until the very end 
Luck will come to us sooner or later, u know. Here is a quote from one of my favorite song:

<p>hjsammie, my email told me the exact time i received it, 1.29 am. also, my phone is connected to my email, and i was lying in bed when i got it. i then called my friend at like… noon to see if she had gotten it. she hadnt, was miserable, called me three times to ask stuff, stayed by her computer all day, called me to cry, then called me at 6.30 to scream in my ear. </p>
<p>i don’t know if it had something to do with email/computer/technology, but thats just the time scheme of how things went down. </p>

<p>I haven’t received an e-mail from NYU, but I was wondering what are their admission statistics? Is a USC/UCLA/Cal potential generally qualified for NYU as well?</p>
<p>i’m really hoping that those emails are similar to the ivy league’s likely letters…if so, that means we still have a chance of getting in</p>
