Do the west coast scores really come in the mail in 5 days?

I called but only because I’ll be at camp when they come and it was my first ap and I couldn’t wait

West Coast
2009 date: July 6th
2010 date: July 6th
2011 date: July 7th
2012: If it’s the same number of mail days (from July 1st) as last year, it’s July 7th (Saturday) again.
All of the past years have had it on the 2nd week of July, but this year we begin the first week on a Sunday so…

Maybe Mr. Packer is averaging the mail date to different places in the US?
Or we may expect it on the 9th, Monday.

I’m trying to be patient, especially since I’m in California. I have orientation next week though, and I don’t want to potentially come home to bad news. At this point I’m thinking I should just get it over with…but I haven’t managed to dig out my AP number from the pile of old binders and notebooks yet anyway lol.

I have not nor am I going to call in for my scores. Although $8 isn’t a lot of money (I actually have an AMEX Gift Card in my wallet begging to be used), I would much rather experience the thrill and suspense of opening up the envelope containing my scores. Also, the scores are supposed to be mailed in a couple of weeks, just enough time for the suspense to climax.

I’ve decided that my patience is gone and I’ll call once I dig out my AP number. It’s my last set of exams anyway.

I had finally resigned myself to calling. Then, I realized that I couldn’t find my packet anywhere. I think I ripped it up in a fit of rage at the College Board :D

Okay, Chem, APUSH, APES, AP Lang, please be fives.

I offered to call for my son, but he didn’t keep his AP number! I hate that you get a new number each year.

Obviously, I’m the one with no patience.

So when will scores be mailed for the west coast (i live in WA)? I don’t really want to spend the money to call if they will be here shortly plus I’m not sure if I still have my AP number!

I am waiting very impatiently for my scores to come in the mail. I only have two scores this year. If they don’t come within this week, though, I will probably call because I am using my scores to figure out my schedule for college and I need to get that settled sooner rather than later.

How long does it usually take to get to the East Coast?

I called in. So worth the $8. Even if you do bad, or you don’t want to be “impatient”–it’s really not being that impatient. You took important test(s) and would like to know how you did on them. 8 dollars to find out is not that bad, especially because when you get the detailed report sooner or later, you already know what to expect, but get to see how you did more in-depth after the scores have already sunk in. To be honest, even if I failed I would rather know right away. It’s 8 bucks over the course of 3 years. Best $24 I’ll be spending throughout school.

I haven’t called and I probably won’t. I don’t think it’s worth the $8 anyway, if we get the results in what, two weeks? Where are they mailed from anyway?
I need to learn patience too. :D

Are the score reports we get mailed detailed and in-depth? I was under the impression we just got a paper with our scores on it and that was it. I’d be so happy if we get to see grades on individual essays and stuff… Is that what you mean?

^ Its just a number on a piece of paper

Okay, that’s what I thought… :/

^ And you get an extra piece of paper if you qualify for one of the AP Awards. If you want your essays back, you can get them back, but they’ll charge you and you won’t see the grading marks on it.

^ Hmm, okay, thanks for the info!

i live in canada
how long should i wait for my scores?
im sooo worried…
i took psych, micro and macro, and i self-studied
i studied 10days for psych,
and about 5 hours for micro and 4 hours for macro
I know im not gonna make it, but lol just wanna see what i got…

^Where in Canada? It’s bigger than the US…
