<p>Beaverhouse-I live in Seattle and say the out-of-state experience is DEFINITELY worth the money. UW Seattle is AWESOME! Just not right for me cause it’s waaaaay too close to home. I positively love seattle though! Trust me, you get used to the rain veeeery quickly. I’m going to miss it tons when I’m in cali for school!</p>

<p>barngirl - depends on what you’re looking for. ucsd is a much more serious and studious place, but the campus is utterly gorgeous and in the best location. Davis is a college town with lots of campus activities, but not nearly as beautiful. I’ve heard that sd can be really boring, and davis gets nothing but great reviews for fun.</p>

<p>Choosing between the J-School at Missouri and Newhouse at Syracuse. I really like Mizzou’s program and campus more, but Syracuse offers a sport management program, while Missouri doesn’t. Sport Management is what I wanted to minor in. For this reason alone, Syracuse is hanging in this race.</p>
<p>Im undecided between Johns Hopkins and WashUStl (but like 95% sure for JHU) similar financail packages and JHU imo ha better prestige

<p>I haven’t picked yet either. Haven’t gotten all my financial aid offers yet for some reason. It’s down to four- U Sci Philly (my fave), Northeastern right behind n only cuz they haven’t given me financial aid yet, just merit, URI (most money, worst school), and U Michigan.</p>
<p>I 've narrowed it down from Northwestern-JHU- Cornell-Williams to Cornell-Williams, but can’t make up my mind. Cornell is known all over the world, Williams… not. I think I would learn more at Williams, but I liked Cornell more when I visited.</p>
<p>Choice is between half scholarship to Bucknell and Full (15 credit hours per semester) to University of Kansas. Thoughts?</p>

<p>to Elgin1…i really liked cornell also…it was such a cool place and had a lot of diversity. its just my opinion but those small LAC’s like williams seem sort of like overgrown high schools…very small with a class in each subject…i think a little bit of culture shock is good.</p>
<p>momma17777 - I love kansas and it is a great school with an unbelievable campus. I wouldn’t turn down a full ride there.</p>
<p>Right now I’m 95% NYU, 5% Chapman. I got in as a Film & TV major at Tisch and as a Creative Producing major at Chapman. I think the only reason Chapman is in this race is due to the amount of $$$ they offered me.</p>
<p>I’m somewhat sure I’m going to end up at UC Berkeley…though I have a lot of doubts about how much I’m going to enjoy my first year. I still have Carleton and Oberlin as options…but my apparently unrealistic dreams have been squashed by my parents, who are so suddenly afraid of my leaving them forever that they refuse to help pay for any out-of-state school. Oberlin was my top pick, but their financial aid package was less than welcoming. I guess I can appeal to Carleton, but bah…why bother if I have no support for the idea. I keep switching plans every couple of hours.</p>
