<p>And for the record, I myself decided to start playing piano. Same with violin because in my school district, you have to pick between band, choir, and orchestra in middle school. No instruments in band interested me and I sucked at singing so the only choice I was left with was orchestra. :) I am not the "typical" Asian.</p>

<p>Haha playing an instrument and you say youre not the typical asian. I dont know one asian who hasnt at least TRIED an instrument. I would say close to 80% actually do play one. unless youre one of those 3rd or 4th gen asian....then maybe not. But for the record 90% of my schools orchestra is asian :) So typical?</p>

<p>I don't know. But, some of these stats look pretty daunting to me. I mean, I hope they have many more acceptances to go.</p>
