That's for UCLA.

if uci is 59% and ucsb is 52%, then 7% more applicants got accepted, making it easier to get in

but yes, it is possibly to get accepted from one school with a lower acceptance rate, and rejected from one that has a higher acceptance rate, it seems to be happening alot this year

It seems to me that this year is harder to get accepted than previous years. Harvard's rate is 9% this year, lowest in history.

my head is starting to hurt and im getting really worried

ucsb Applicants: 39,840 uci Applicants: 38,389... but it is hard to say, lets hope we all can get in

but dont worry about it, if we get in then we do, if not, we can always go to our back ups and succeed there

UCI ranks 12th, SB 16th.

Fisch, did you get in SB?

no, i was kinda bummed out, but im hoping on uci, if not, i guess its either sdsu or ucr

and those rankings must have been for public schools, for all schools its 44th irvine 47th sb, atleast for usnews.. but i think uci may drop this year because there mba program dropped, and that might have an effect on there undergrad program, but idk

uci was my backup haha

where would u go if not uci?

Fisch, I think I'm in the same boat as you. Got in Riverside, but didn't apply SDSU, should have, maybe.

yeah, but idk if i wanna live in riverside, i still have to check it out, but i havent heard a good thing from it yet

either UCR (they are still asking me to apply) or cc for 1-2 to LA or cal

Actually, SB reserves a spot for me if I decide to go there, but my parents prefer UCI, that's if I get in.

My friend got a call a couple of days ago from UCI asking her for FAFSA info (they lost it, believe it or not!) They told her it'd take at least two weeks to process after she sent it in. But she got in today!

This Is Freakin Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
