<p>I just found out UCI does not have a football team. I thought about playing football at high school. Good thing I did not....</p>

<p>if u want to be cold, go to pitt, if u want to be hott/warm, go to sdsu... sdsu seems pretty nice... their acceptance rate is very low (which really doesnt matter) and i HEARD that they have a somewhat good business prgram. dont no much about pittsburg tho...</p>

<p>Pretty much all engineering is impacted at every school. However, UCSD has decided to recently make EE not impacted to encourage more EE applicants. There has been a slight shortage of EEs but I didn't think UCSD needed to do this.</p>
<p>is any of you guys actually consider going to irvine? Did you get a lot of aid?</p>
<p>I am considering going to UC Irvine because they're giving me more money than Cal Poly SLO. I'm actually paying a lot less to go to Irvine than Cal Poly, hahahha..</p>

<p>I am definitley going to UCI. I received 12,500 in grants. I heard that is the average they give which is pretty good. Now I need to find scholarships to cover the rest.</p>

they are not giving me any money, but it is only about 10000 a yr so it's ok (since i'll be living in my house... -> i went on the housing tour today... and i was like "no way" (no air conditioning + small room... i would rather stay in my house with my two separate rooms for studying and sleeping))</p>
