No air conditioning in the dorm rooms?

well i'm not sure if it was there or not
but it wasn't on for the tour... the whole building was kinda stuffy...
but that's me...
maybe some ppl are good with that kind of environment

I'd advice that anyone trying to apply for admission at UCI as student-athlete.

DON'T !!!!!

I would have been accepted without it.

Believe it or not !! I am still waiting......

i've gotten decisions from 11/12 of my colleges except UCI. what the hell is wrong with these people?

Admission status is still pending as of this moment... I have no idea what's going on! I'm going to SB's Open House next week, I probably end up going there.
orasool, are you also applying through sports like me?

nope, just regular Undecided/Undeclared candidate. Well I probably won't be going to UCI either, but it would still be nice to know ...

During the recruiting trip at UCSB, I met with some student-althletes there. Their first choice last year was also UCI but they ended up going there. They said UCI admissions office was very disorganized. Now I totally agree.

How can UCI's sports stay competitive?

They are sending me the National Letter of Intent. Sounds like the end of misery.....

UCI is sending LOI or SB? What sport do you play? Congrats to you!

Question: I was accepted to UCI online, but I haven't gotten my letter in the mail. o_O Does that mean something bad?

I was accepted and sent in my SIR already. I didn't get my letter in the mail yet either. Don't worry about it though. When I was accepted by UCR, it took a loooooong time to receive the letter.

A LOI, or letter of intent is for recruited athletes. Don't worry it has nothing to do with anyone but UCI Lover. Congratulations UCI Lover, and I told you so. Thank goodness that coach finally brought the admissions office a nice box of donuts. :)
