Who HATES this transcript?

EDIT - Never mind, your junior year is over, and it looked insanely hard. If you did well that looks great.

I’m not sure of your point. The actual transcript (w/o the self-studies) looks fine, by which I mean respectable yet not particulary overwhelming. Add in the self studied AP lites and, still, what’s there to hate?

Sorry for being dense, but I’m truly missing your point.

Your senior schedule is very strong – right on track with its emphasis on core courses in the “big 5”: science, math, english, history and foreign language, and all at an advanced level.

I also think that your transcripts for the earlier years are very strong – again with their focus on core subjects, at a high level of rigor.

You have a question mark next to AP Spanish Literature. I would encourage you to take that course. Hopefully it’s offered in your high school and not a self study. By taking it you would have an impressive foreign language sequence – which (as colleges would like to see) includes application of the language in the study of its literature.

Dunno, how were the grades? Also, were there sundry other courses you haven’t mentioned (music, etc)? If not, what were you doing with those extra periods?

Schedule certainly shows you are able to learn on your own and be self-motivated.

We can only take a maximum of 6 classes. I took an extra science course instead of doing a music class, so really didn’t have any free periods. I’m getting all A’s, meaning A minuses to A+'s in every subject. (I have a mid-A average unweighted).

Ninth Grade: Schedule was the hardest in my grade. Only two other people matched mine with same level of grades.

Tenth Grade: Schedule was the hardest in my grade. Only three other people matched mine with same level of grades.

Eleventh Grade: Was the hardest out of everyone. I could’ve taken AP History, but I didn’t want to go overload, especially not in a subject I dislike.

Twelth Grade: Hardest Schedule out of everyone, again, maybe tied with one or two people (possibly)

I took 1 year of woodworking. But it’s never going to be looked at by the adcom, so I didn’t mention it. I also didn’t mention the required classes like health/driver’s ed.

So are you rank 1? You wouldn’t be at my school because there is no weighting, so people with easy classes and 4.0s get that.

No. I’m in the top ten, probably somewhere in the middle.

Is “self-study” even on your transcript?
If you didn’t take the course at your HS there will be no grade so it is unlikely to show up.
The AP grades will show up when they are sent for the College Board.
7 AP classes, vs the 13 you say you took???

Well it’s not part of my transcript, but I’m just saying those were the years during which I self-studied the mentioned APs.

It’s a great transcript but nothing that would make me jump out of my seat. What exactly is the point of this thread mate?

Not sure what the point of this thread is.

The point is quite obvious, to receive a pat on the back. Good job, mate!

You take 5 courses every year?

Ya, seriously man only 5. Good luck getting into community college. Sometimes ppl on CC drive me nuts.
He said he omitted the b.s classes like P.E, woodwork, Driver’s Ed, etc.

Your classes look very competitive, but I don’t see the point of this thread. (Not a chance me thread nor are my classes hard/competitive enough for Ivies thread.)

^I was not being sarcastic, or being cynical in any way shape or form.
You are overexaggerating.
