<p>I just applied to Tisch Film a few days ago. For my portfolio, i submitted a six-page story...hopefully i will get in! I can't wait 'til December to hear back though i am a little scared, but if i don't get in then that is OK but kind of depressing lol.</p>

<p>I applied to CAS on Wednesday for Journalism. I had my application all set on Tuesday, but my parents wanted me to sleep on it for a night and make sure I really was satisfied with all my supplement answers. I’m so glad to be done with it! It’s going to be a looong 45 days!</p>
<p>Gallatin, sent thursday, it’s gonna be a long ass 45 days but on the bright side, it is only 45 days as opposed to however long the RD people have to wait.</p>

<p>I think around December 15th and it looks like everyone finds out by email this year. At least that’s what it seemed like in the email they sent with the pin number.</p>
<p>How do they send the NYU ID for the early decision financial aid? Is it through email? I applied using the Common App…</p>
<p>dinosgomoo - what pin? I didn’t get anything and I’ve sent mine before you sent in yours. Oh no! I hope nothing is wrong! They haven’t even downloaded any of my application materials yet!</p>

<p>On the common app if you click on “my colleges” and click on nyu there’ll be a date submitted next to the application, supplement… etc. Once nyu downloads it, it will say “Downloaded: (date)”</p>
<p>Mine says “downloaded on 10/30/10” but i have no idea what this pin is that everyone is talking about…i’m kind of worried because financial aid is CRUCIAL…does it take a while for it to come through e-mail? I submitted my app on 10/29/10.</p>

I just wonder how long it will take for it to be downloaded.</p>
<p>^It took less than a day for me actually… I submitted it yesterday morning and when I woke up this morning BAM everything was downloaded except for the supplement… i don’t know what’s up with that though…</p>

I submitted it Saturday and recieved an email about it on Tuesday. I’m applying to Gallatin, so maybe there’s a difference in the schools. IDK. Check your spam too, for some reason some of the NYU emails for me have been going straight into the spam box. If you don’t get anything by like Wednesday tho, I would call just to make sure. They say allow up to a week.</p>
