Who here applied ED?

So I’m a little confused. No LSP for Sternies, but can we be GSP’d? Or is that also out of the question?

if by gsp you mean general studies program, that doesn’t exist anymore. i believe its lsp now…

They changed the general studies program to liberal studies program… GSP now stands for the Global liberal studies program i think?

Yeah, and you have to apply to that to be considered for it. LSP is the only thing you can be deferred to, and they’re not deferring Sternies this year  you’re either in or out.

some mom posted saying someone in her daughter’s school got accepted into NYU meaning only one thing: they must have been LSP’ed and LSP decisions are out or coming out soon

Only 13 more days! Or will they come out earlier now that LSP are going out?

It should be the same amount of time…LSP always comes out early. This is actually a little late for LSP to be coming out in comparison with previous years.

I know someone who got accepted into LSP today (or I’m assuming because CAS decisions aren’t out yet).

What day approx did the previous years’ applicants receive decisions for non-LSP?

I think it was November 28th. Give or take a few days.

I think it was something like 14th for accepted students… not sure about rejected though… they might have been on the same day too. It was different last year though, because NYU sent the decisions snail mail to all non-international students, so they would’ve sent them a few days before the 14th… I really hope we get them early this year :D

my stress level just went up 18229379478934739874839 times today. 13.13.13.13.13.13.13.13.13.13.13.

oops I thought you wrote LSP (you wrote non) yeah then, the 14th.

Hey guys, I just stumbled onto this site a few days ago for the first time. I applied early decision to CAS, and when I checked my email just now, I found out that I got LSPed!

I don’t know whether to be happy or disappointed, mostly because I don’t know much about the Liberal Studies Program. Can any of you help me out by explaining what it is really, and/or some pros and cons of the program? That would be infinitely helpful, and good luck to all of you continuous hopefuls!

You can do a search on the forum for information about LSP. There’s a TON of information from people that are in the LSP and those that have researched about it. I personally know next to nothing about it sorry :S
