Who here applied ED?

@ itstime
I agree with you. After seeing numerous TOOO GOOd applicants on CC, I just wanted to say
maybe they are among the best of the best possible.
CC is a nerdy place where only the utmost people who actually care about college the most would go on here and check out.
I mean , people should not worry about much, it’s not that bad, and the chances are always plenty.

I like your thinking…
We’ve just got to focus on something else for the next 42 hours and 32 minutes.

isn’t it 41 hours??

ha ha love the hourly countdown :)

Haha, yeah you’re right. My beee.
I can’t even get the time correct, haha

i have no idea how they expect me to take finals for the next two days without a) wasting most of the time starring at the clock, calculating hours until we get the email, or b) having a complete and utter meltdown

@dinosgomoo no prob, in a world where i am less obsessive, i shouldn’t be able to catch that

I’ve lost so much confidence lately. ED decisions were pretty bad at my school. Only 5 got in out of around 50 Cornell ED. 3 out of 20 Columbia ED (one was a legacy, one was a URM). The non-ivy decisions gave me some hope, though.

I suddenly have an urge to hug everyone on this thread. Okay, maybe that sounds a bit creepy… Ahh.

i’d take a hug right about now, its ok :)

@TheSternLock: I love the older song! I was in TS during the countdown to 2009 and it was amazing o.o

@smartbear: I had that thought, but then I figured- shouldn’t most ED applicants be good, anyway, considering those who don’t care much about university or have lower stats probably don’t even know what ED is/ missed the ED deadline? Just a thought.

hmmm we had 4 to Cornell, 2 to NYU, 1 to Columbia, 1 to Upenn, and 1 to Dartmouth apply ED… and our graduating class only has 53 people haha

Darn magnet school grade deflation. ;_;
My class is around 800 students. D:

I remember walking around the city the other day and realizing I’d miss a lot if I went to a rural school.

Oh gosh, I can’t sleep.

@winniehuang
I think ur a sure pick for CAS, given LSP decision is out hence only rejection or acceptance left.
Since u got a better overall stats than LSP, i think u should be in

@TAHUNGANH that just made my day!! thank you  my university counsllor keeps saying maybeeeeee :S
@TheSternlock omg 800 people graduating class?!?!? that’s bigger than my entire school! And it’s kindergarton to grade 12! woww haha

Just a couple of questions for whoever can answer:
1: I’m a black student so that’s a URM. So is me being Muslim, But what if from Minnesota? Is MN an under represented state?
2: For those who applied ED, where do you want to find out your decision? Personally u wouldn’t mind finding out in class because than I can jump up and down in class, and if I got declined I can hide my feeling quite easily.
3: About how many total students apply to NYU?
4: About how many students apply to the Sports Management Program?
Thanks, and good Luck. I can’t wait till I can apply (Aug 1!) Haha

If you had to put out an average of what you think the qualifying stats were for CAS early what would you say?
SAT/ACT score and gpa

Man, it’s almost the 15th, guys! Good thing I have five tests this week + economics presentation, it definitely keeps me distracted!

I think only 3-5 people applied to my school ED: 1 Tisch (me :() and 4 CAS. Although, I’m not sure how many people get into NYU from my school. I know only ONE person who got in last year to CAS.

Just look at the LSPed ones, i think you can have a rough idea. It should be better but not a whole lot

my graduating class has about 1000… we have 3800 in our whole school hahhaa
