Who here applied ED?

@dinosgomoo - I can picture it now - “are you dinosgomoo from CC?!” we wouldn’t look weird at all o.0 haha. And @AudreyH I think the exact same way! I feel like I’ve gotten to know you all over the past few months  hope that’s not too creepy haha…

haha, it would be priceless!

I feel the same way. We’ve all obsessively stressed through this together. :)

I seriously want to make like a secret society Facebook page for those of us who get in and been there for each other through this stressful time via CC…but we would need a good name…hmmm…

and a sweet symbol. but the FB page may be a bit too public. gotta keep it secret after all

ha ha ha i would be so up for a facebook page!

Haha I’m sure we can make it so that it’s like “invite only” which would keep it pretty secret…Ahh let’s do it!

:)

“My name is ______. And I am an NYU-holic.”

The Confiders!

Ahh the Confiders! I like it!

I like it. We could be the CCC (College Confidential Confiders)

Yess, beautiful! I’ll make it and invite everyone as soon as I get my acceptance email  (hope I didn’t just jinx myself…)

I’m pretty sure you’ll get in. I saw your stats and was like woahh, I wish I had that…

I keep seeing NYU everywhere. I was at Barnes & Noble over the weekend and I picked up a book and the main character in the book had gone to NYU. Last night I was looking at graduation announcements and the first card I clicked it said the girl was going to attend NYU in the Fall. Then during class today my teacher googled something and one of the first results was New York University Bobst Library.
ITS TORTURE!

@dinosgomoo: sympathize 100%. I’m attempting to write a paper that compares Next to Normal (which I saw in NYC) and Flowers for Algernon (which takes place in NY). needless to say, I haven’t gotten very far.

Haha a facebook group is such a good idea! We are definitely the most nervous group of EDers on cc… Other threads only have half our pages XD

Hey… CC tends to freak me the hell out because I feel inferior when I’m around a bunch of people with 6.0 GPAs and 700 extracurriculars and Native American blood and president’s daughters, so I try to stay off in the time when I’m waiting to hear back, but I couldn’t. I’m just waiting for tomorrow like Christmas. Except I’m not sure I want to see what Santa got me.

Anyone know about what time they’ll notify us?

after 5pm EST

I love the metaphor @Jagiellon.

On the website it says after 5… so hopefully after means right after. But who knows…

I know just how you feel. Whenever I look at anyone’s stats I feel completely inadequate but I’m just so anxious so I couldn’t help but get on here. The website said something about after 5 pm; however, that’s when said they were going to start sending them then. Does that mean there is the potential to not receive it tomorrow?

Hahaha I love this board and the facebook page idea just because I now know that I am not the only one unhealthily obsessed with this  I have a special playlist for songs about New York and/or are relevant to how I feel right now…and I made a vision board at the end of sophomore year for NYU. Maybe I’m a dork but I just want this so much!

Guys I know exactly what you mean. I went on a shopping trip with a friend this weekend to get my mind off of NYU…the first store I walk into, the first shirt I see says “NYU est. 1831”. It was awful. And @jagiellon - all anyone knows is what the website says - they “hope to notify us starting at 5 pm Eastern time on December 15th” and if we don’t hear back by the 20th, we should contact them. They’ve never done notifications by email before, so that really is all we have to base anything off of.
