who here drinks coffee/ caffeinated beverages while studying?

Me!!!

If i don't have coffee, espresso or tea i can't study. sad. eh? We live right next to a starbucks and it closes at 11:00 which is also helpful...

I drink a mug of tea almost every morning to wake myself up. I'll also drink a cup if I have to stay up late to study/work (although I usually avoid drinking tea after 8 because then I end up staying up until 1am).

I drink a Red Bull before every major (SAT/SAT II/AP) test and Propel during (if possible). I think it helps (especially during the 5 hour one...)

:)

red bull is good.

it doesnt taste all that great, but it gives you lots of energy.

its good if you're not a morning person (like myself)

Red Bull was the reason I survived having three of my AP tests on the first two days of testing last year. (Calc and World on the same day, ouch!) It also saved my butt when I woke up with a 101 degree fever the morning of my Math 2c and World SAT IIs, although Motrin played a small role in those as well.

While I'm studying, I don't consciously drink any extra caffeinated drinks, but since most of the studying that actually ends up accomplishing anything takes place with friends in a Starbucks or Panera or whatever, I tend to get my caffeine fix anyway.

And personally, I love how Red Bull tastes. It doesn' taste like soda, which is good because it makes me feel like I'll be more alert even without actual assistance, but it still tastes good, not like medicine or whatever.

i tend to stay away from caffinated beverages. its not a good habit to develop drinking that stuff.. green tea, however, is excellent

yea I drink a cup of green tea in the morning and another two or three cups at night when I'm studying...it helps me focus.
