Who here has self-studied AP Comparative Gov?

Has anyone here self-studied for AP Comparative Gov?

If so:
1. What was your score?
2. Approximately how many months/weeks did you study for? And how many hours per day?
3. What books did you use?

Thanks!

All throughout the school year, twelve hours every week, though for how much a day varied.

An old textbook the school provided, and some popular review book. I think it was the first on an Amazon search.

I don’t know, I really wanted to learn the material, I was more interested in that than getting a good grade on the test. Taking the test was more of a means to getting the department head to loan me the textbook.

If you’re self-studying for the test grade, then I guess you can probably reasonably fit in over the course of four months?

i took the class, with a teacher that taught me nothing. 2 days after the taking the SAT, I took the exam and got a 4.

Outta self interest, I’m self-studying it myself this year.

What was your score? Don’t know yet.

Approximately how many months/weeks did you study for? And how many hours per day?
Gonna start ‘passively’ reading/studying until January, where I’ll fix myself to an hour a day.

What books did you use? Ethel Wood’s AP Comparative Gov’t study guide… people most recommend it, and looking through it, it’s simple but seems well written.

I had the book, but didn’t use it.

A week before exam. 1 hour a day.

Ethel Woods and the internet.

Thanks guys! So, I suppose that it is not too intensive to study like crazy, but a couple months beforehand is recommended? :)
