<p>Pleasure to meet you. Do you know how the housing works for us? Like say my friend who is non Regents and I want to dorm. Is there a higher chance for us to be roommates since I am Regents?</p>

<p>Greetings. I'm a Regents from last year and I believe I can quickly help you answer this question. (and I suppose anyone else who has questions about Regents).</p>
<p>It's known as "pulling". If you are a Regents, you have priority housing. That means that your application is looked at and fulfilled before anyone else's. If you request a roommate, almost 100% of the time, that roommate(s) (though rarely will you ever see a Regents Scholar in anything more than a double, unless its a suite) will get the housing with you, because they would be "pulled" into your dorm due to your priority.</p>
