<p>hello_operator, it's fantastic that you're taking an Ethnic Studies class. ETHN classes will open your eyes up to things you never knew about before. It'll make you angry of injustices happening in your own backyard. Keep an open mind the whole time, and do all of the readings! </p>
<p>Anyway, on the subject of the forum. This is my own personal opinion based on my own experience and seeing those around me: take 3 classes your first quarter. You're going to need the time to acquaint yourselves with your radically new surroundings, new eating habits, sleeping habits, study habits, living habits in general. 3 classes and maybe a seminar are plenty.</p>
