Nothing is worth taking your own life.

I lost my best friend of 13 years.

Since a lot of the people here are probably about to go off to college in the next year or two, I would say it isn’t worth it.

romanypig: Did you guys felt attached together?

It would be very hard for me to lose a dear friend, but I think regardless, my friend would want me to continue my life as before.

Life presents challenges, but we will all hopefully be together again eventually.

None of my friends are worth my own life. Harsh, but true. If my mom died, maybe.

I wouldn’t kill myself for anything, unless by some bizarre circumstances the fate of the world depended on it lol. Losing a close friend would be really tough, and by killing myself, I would just be making all my family and friends go through the same thing I went through. And that would be selfish

Friends would never be worth it. I don’t think I’d even feel sad at all. Family, I would feel mournful, but I think I’d have the willpower to regroup and get on with my life.

So no.

(I would learn to find new people to satisfy.)
uhh, sexually?

anyhoo, the death of another person in my life wouldn’t be worth me taking my own life. maybeee my cousin. i’m just really not that close with most of the people i know. & i have grown apart from a lot of my friends over the years. wow, this is kind of a depressing revelation -_-

point being, if i were to kill my self, it would be over some awful things in my own life, not over someone else losing their’s.

nothing is worth killing yourself over…trust me. it might seem bad at the time, but everything gets better with time!

^^unless it doesn’t. it might just keep getting worse.

also, there’s a theory in psychology that states that every thing ‘evens out’ over time. when applied to life, that just means that, in the end, we’re all going to be “moderately happy”–that’s 50%. again, depressing thoughts.

^ What if you got too attached to one or more of your friends?
I’ve seen that happening to few people.

No, I wouldn’t. I’ve been through situations of similar situations… but I haven’t killed myself. Yeah, depressed for a while, but you gotta move on… and live for them.

Bump <10 char>

Well, that would probably lead to a chain of everyone in the world committing suicide, so…
no.

I would do something constructive instead, after the mourning period.

why would you kill yourself because your best friend died? I mean I’d be sad but I wouldn’t kill myself over it unless you’re the one who killed him/her.

I would never kill myself…for anything…[except Idk what I’d do if my parents died]

Good to point out there, Trumpetgrl.
Even if you got friend(s) who you were attached to for at least 5+ years?

Get my name right. Pig doesn’t appear anywhere in it.

Of course, we were attached to each other. We had been together since diapers.

Yeah, I would never. However, I would cry A LOT. I cried a massive amout when I left my best friend in California. We were best friends for 7 years I miss her. I miss California.
