<p>for the "who inspires you" prompt, what do you think about writing about another student? (in particular, this is a very accomplished student who is internationally recognized and is one of the top students in the US, and went to my school)</p>

<p>does this take too much of the focus off oneself?</p>

<p>i would say so, but it depends on how well you know him/her.</p>

<p>A good way to focus on yourself and not get distracted by talking about the other student, is to explain what impact his accomplishments have on you, at a personal level.</p>
