come at me.

aware (srs)

you are one cheeky mate, i swear

strong misc presence is strong

14.5’’ arms. waddup

I wish I was cool enough to know what was going on

I think it has something to do with a body building forum. If it is, I’m looking to get in shape this year and was wondering if anyone would be willing to work out with me and show me the basics so I don’t completely injure and/or make a fool of myself (PM me). And if I’m totally off base, oops :)

Interdasting…very interdasting. Hopefully this doesn’t turn into a fiasco similar to compassion pit

Nah, I’m a second year. I tried to start working out last year at Wooden but there were no freshmen on my floor who lifted so I never really got going.
Oh, and I was just really confused, so I googled some of the phrases and they let me there. College research skills at work haha.

Let me first by telling you the #1 MOST IMPORTANT factor in getting in shape is to have a healthy diet. I worked out 3-4 days a week freshman and sophomore year. Got a decent frame but never got big or a nice six pack. I was just more defined than the regular dude.

I changed to a healthy diet this summer and have gotten noticeable gains in 5 weeks. Plus its addicting as hell.

yup, incoming freshmen. Hedrick summit here.

ucla92 make sure you don’t squat in the curl racks.

Lol do you even lift brah?

yup, curl/abs 7x a day gnome saiyen?

btw, do you know what times the wooden center is not packed?

the best time is at around 8 or 9 am, and it’s usually good until around 1 or 2 pm. But after 4 it’s ridiculously packed

damn man i hate lifting in the mornings

Yeah me too, but that’s the best time in my experience. The afternoons are packed like you would never believe…I once went at 4 o’clock and there was not one dumbbell on the racks, every single bench was taken, the squat racks had lines, and the back machines were packed too. Never again will i go in the afternoon, but I don’t know how it is in the late evenings. You may want to try that out

4-7 is peak hours. After 7pm, nighttime is great

I went once at 8 pm and it was still packed. Go after 10 pm to to definitely avoid the crowd. Gym will be ~40% packed by then.

You’ve gotta be kidding me with all of this lifting BS. Weights are for people with no natural strength Cardio is the s***

Speaking of cardio, I wanna start running every morning once the school year starts. But I suck at running. I get tired and out of breath after a min. I look in shape but I’m the complete opposite. Any tips on how to start and train myself?
