Trying to help my son decide.

I only applied to Binghamton and Georgetown. Barring some sort of full-ride miracle at GU (which won’t happen, I promise) I am definitely attending.

Bing is really my dream school; I can’t speak for your son but I fell in love with the school. Finding a school with my majors (both Poli Sci AND Arabic) is a nightmare in and of itself, and the fact that Bing’s tuition is ridiculously cheap on top of that was a dream come true. I toured the campus and it’s beautiful; I could see myself fitting in here. I also talked with students and professors who went out of their way to help me.

In short, I would wholeheartedly recommend Binghamton for the quality/price combo; it simply can’t be beat.

Tempted to say “yes” but might as well wait for the other schools to respond in March. The admissions game has played us for a long time so it is time to let this play itself out.

Let’s see who, if anyone, makes a better offer than Binghamton.

It’s nice to be able to kick back and wait at this point knowing that Bing. has accepted you. Now it is time to let the other schools spin their wheels of acceptance/rejection and then see what shakes out on the FA front if the wheel lands on “accepted.”
