Crickett, where is your list?

I thought someone already made one :(

Yeah theres like 4 threads now, oh well, thats all right, in like 4 days after everyone finds out, someone can make the official one, lol!

yeah crickett, I think you should do the honors.
(Or whatever that saying is, lol)

Alright :)

yea!

I Can't wait.

What did I miss?

On March 12, ceickett will make the super-mega-awesome-master list!!

necause, she has the official rights to it.

that's all.

and I like squid.

Oh, I knew that she was going to end up getting the honors anyway, I mean come on, Crickett....lol

Are you jealous, Aussie? jk...

There have been similar lists on the college threads. They are usually listed by poster's screen name in alpha order followed by the school they've been accepted to. For example:

aperfectgirl: Andover, Exeter, SPS
boywhostudies: Exeter, Deerfield, SPS, Taft, Middlesex
mrsperfect's S: Deerfield, Andover
papadog's D: SPS, Concord, Hotchkiss
studiestoomuch: Andover, Milton, Groton
zebra: Choate, Andover, Miss Porters

As each person posts their acceptance or adds to the post as an additional acceptance is received, they copy the ENTIRE previous post and add their new data.

It is important that there are no other posts such as "congratulations, zebra, you worked so hard!!!" If this happens, the thread become diluted and ceases to be the "official acceptance thread".

that's a good suggestion baseballmom. Do they also show schools that they were waitlisted/rejected from? It would be nice to show Financial aid as well.

Kit--sure, the screenname person posts their own information, so they can put what they want. I've never seen anyone put "rejected" on the college acceptance thread, but I have seen "Gettyburg College-president's scholarship" or something similar.

The rules are simple: you must paste the entire list that appears in the post preceding yours and you must NOT post any other messages. It needs to be purely acceptances.

The college threads also have one for "congratulations" which is where everyone can say "OMG, kitkatbar, you are so awesome and smart!! I KNEW you would get in everywhere you applied!" or the more popular "Wow, baseballmom, I wish I was as smart as your son and schools were fighting over me!"

Or, "Wow Baseballmom, you are really cool with a great sense of humor--your son is lucky to have you as a mom!" :D:):D:)

Actually some of the college discussion lists show both the screen name with schools, as baseball mom suggests, and then, below that a list of schools with screen names of those accepted (and waitlisted).: Again, rules are the same, each new person copies and pastes, but often there's one person who cleans things up every so often.
Good luck to everyone!

I vote for Crkicket to make the "2008 Official Acceptance List", organized in a unique and creative way of her choosing!

i think that sounds like a good plan...keeping it organized and clean will be easier to navigate, but we should definitely also have a congratulations thread!

I just think that if we do the list baseballmom's way then there will be someone who tries to update the list at the same time as someone else. If that happens, the list will get messed up! I have a good idea for a list ;)

haha sounds good cricket - i'm sure your idea is great :D

haha im looking forward to seeing your list crickett=]]
