Dont worry if you score less on the Calculus Diagnostics Test. A lot of people scored less. Its just because it has been long time since we studied calculus and trig, and its kinda hard to remember it all back.

That's cool, when did you take this diagnostic test? At orientation or online as that one letter i got stated?

You gotta take this test before orientation. According to their rules, if you score less than 60% then you better take Calc I and if you score more , then take Calculus II.

It's not really a rule, it's more of a suggestion. Don't worry about it. It's really up to you and how you gauge yourself. Your advisor will talk to you about it. If you think you can handle calc II, go for it, if you can't but you go for it anyway, you're just shooting yourself in the foot. Just cater to your strengths.

Hey, I just got back from my grand UVA orientation/wedding-in-north carolina trip. Orientation was pretty interesting and a lot to absorb. My biggest suggestion for the people in the rest of the orientations is to get all of the scheduling stuff before you arrive...it's a b****.
