I’ve been skimming through these, but never posted. Hahah! Okay, I guess I’m not so ‘confidential’ anymore… :P

I am a… 5’5 asian female. Yay Chinese! Haha. I am from Los Angeles and I am stoked to go to UCI. UCI was like my dream school, so this is going to be great I was accepted as a Psych & Social Behavior major, but right now I am having second thoughts and thinking of changing it to Biological Sciences (which was my alternate major). I really want to work with children in the future, so maybe I will become a pediatrician… or something.

I love meeting new people and I am friendly I also joined the UCI C/O 2013 on FB Let’s see, I plan to get pretty involved at UCI, so I am definitely going to make the best of it! I am a dancer, and I think I am going to continue dancing while I’m at UCI, AND balance all that coursework >_> EESH! I am so down to meet all you hardcore dancers there! Woohooooo! I think I am going to be rooming at MESA COURT. I need some darn financial aid though. Scholarships are just pain in the butts.

Sup guys! Can’t wait to get to UCI!!! WOOO~ Can’t wait to get out of highschool, and my house, get away from my parents, etc.

Hmm I’m a 5’6 asian gal… Burmese/Chinese. Yo any fellow Burmese out there?? Lol. I got admitted as a Bio major, hoping to become some sort of doctor (not sure yet).

I looove playing video games, especially Nintendo games (ZELDA!!!) I really really hope that whereever I dorm, someone will bring their Wii and maybe Rock Band!!! I’m hoping to get a random roomate, and I’ll probably annoy the heck out of them when I blast my Kpop music and dance around the room xD Not sure where I’m gonna be rooming tho… I’ll probably decide after I go take a tour during the Open House. I’m hoping to join the volleyball or badminton club so I can stay fit! Or maybe run around that park too. Don’t wanna gain that FRESHMAN 15! :0

Well if you see a girl riding around the campus on a blue scooter ya’ll know who that is! ;)

haha yay!
well i’m a 5’5 korean girl,
i live in central california. right down smack before it splits into socal or norcal.
i got accepted as a biological science major. UCI has definitely been my dream school since freshmen year, i honestly thought i’d get rejected since my stats weren’t BOMB!
i’m nervous yet excited about UCI! i’m not use to having so many asians @_@; i come from a school where white populate 90% of my school haha. omg. i dont know what else to write. but yeah i joined the c/o 2013 uci thingy on fb :Di love meeting new people, so CLASS OF 13 LETS GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER!

mm
so as of today, i’m 100% an anteater… :P

I’m Korean, very little part samoan/hawaiian, but I still get to choose the Asian/Pacific Islander bubble on standardized tests…
A southern belle accepted as an English major from a place way way way far away called Atlanta, Georgia and pale considering there are no beaches around here besides the one 8 hours drive down south in Florida.

I chose Irvine over all my other colleges mainly because I miss California and the campus is gorgeous.

I think probably the biggest change for me will the be massive amounts of Asians at Irvine as opposed to the small world of Asians here in Atlanta…
To give you a feel, I was one of TWO Asians in my entire elementary school, and one of maybe ten Asians in my middle school. In highschool, we had a “great increase” in the amount of Asians amounting to maybe around 60 out of 4000 kids (biggest high school in Georgia). :)

looking very much forward to Irvine and heres to graduating ;]

any of you guys go to discover uci today? i went there and i was like super disappointed…me and my frends were prolly like the loudest ones / the only ones that clapped n **** lmao. everyone else was like really really quiet / shy

@khiz15: I went/was cheering. Haha, but the group was really big so I can understand the shy comment. It seemed like a bunch of kids were with their parents, so that might have had something to do with it.

I had fun though. Even if it was chilly, I love the UCI campus. So pretty. :)

Well I’m only 90% certain im going to irvine as a transfer student, but who knows i still have 2 schools to go too. So i figured meet new ppl on here because irvine is looking good.

Im currently just a turned 21 year old birthday was just this past monday. I’m 6’2, blonde hair, blue eyes. I currently go to moorpark college, and live in simi valley about an hour and a half away from irvine. I am a civil engineer major and what i like to do for fun is just meet new people, listen to music, love learning new things, love sports. Im really big on baseball, football, basketball and snowboarding. If anyone on here snowboards id be down for snowboard buddies. Im a very laid back person, im usually the one that likes to be in the group but not the one that just has to make everyone focusing on them. I enjoy making people laugh and Im a really cool person to get to know = ). If anyone has a facebook and wants to add me go on ahead here’s my link.

I’ve been on the UCI forum for the past couple of months researching the school to see whether or not I would like to go there, and well that’s no longer a wonder for me as I submitted my SIR in person at Celebrate today…haha, so unless something happens I’m most likely to attend…I guess I should introduce myself then…?

I’m a 17 year old asian guyy…Chinese to be exact, about 6 foot… I chose UCI primarily because I thought that it was a legit college, and the university isn’t too far away from my house, but just far enough so that I can get that “college experience”.

I’m a pretty down to earth type of guy, and people describe me as someone who’s laid back, but I do have a serious side when something important is on the line…
I like meeting new people, and I have a tendency to be a little reserved when I first meet someone, but that’ll change later…haha
I plan to study hard while at UCI, but also try to get involved on campus as well, maybe play club or intramural basketball or volleyball…

Oh and btw, I’m on facebook also…I’ve posted only a few times on the discussion board…

Oshoot, I plan to play Intramural basketball too. Did you play in High School?
Im curious if intramurals are very competitive, or more lay back and welcoming to all skill levels. I played in High school, first two years, then stopped…?
What major are you btw?

akclements- sweettt, yehh i play/ed in high school, jv sophomore year, and varsity junior and senior year…and that’s a good question but i’d assume that it should be somewhat competitive =]

i’m currently undeclared/undecided…don’t know what i want to do in lifeee lmaoo
what about you?
