Not to be rude expeditz but i never implied that everyone going to uci is asian nor did i say that none of them will speak english. I have some asian (korean, vietnamese, thai and japanese) friends that taught me how to say hello in their native language and as i was reading this thread i saw mostly asian people, so i thought it would be neat to say hello in these languages. And UCI is about 55% asian so I’m sure its safe to assume at least one person on here understood what I said and thought it was cool that someone that isn’t asian knows how to say hello in their language. Instead of criticizing what i posted, how about contributing to the thread.

I lol’ed. Just wait till you get here.

Hello~
I just turned 18 this month. I’m 100% Korean. I joined the CHP program and kind of getting scared already. lol. I’ve been meaning to meet some people who are coming to UCI because I’m not dorming. I live like 15 minutes away from UCI :). I’m majoring in English and maybe might add a minor in Humanities and Law. Oooh and I am planning on applying for the Pre-Law Forum? yay~

So the name’s Mel. <– as designated by my username? I wear leggings and legwarmers about 95% of my daily life. And legwarmers are so in style. I’m sorry for all those hipster kids and “fashion stylists” and “wannabes” because they don’t know what their missing out on. If you see someone skippin’ around in mud chewing a ham sandwich, that’s more than likely me. And watch out for my “student driver :)” (yeah, there’s a smile on it) sign in the back of my car in the student parking lot. Yeah, so nice to meet you all.
PS: add me on facebook!! Mel Nguyen. A-W-E-S-O-M-E!
