Who is going to the football games?

How many parents are planning to go to the Parent’s Day Georgia Tech game?

^We are. We plan to attend all home games.

We will be at USF, GT/Parent’s weekend and Homecoming. My sister and nephew will be at the Maryland game. We are passing only on the Jacksonville State game because we got home Tues and cannot turn around and drive another 6 hours 3-4 days later. Too many work obligations to take care of.

Students will likely show up en mass for the Jacksonville State game, despite the loss last week and the no name team. My D is already pumped for the game and the festivities.

So… the game is on ESPN360 online. They are playing in the pouring rain and it is NOT PRETTY.

This was a real “trap” game for Florida State. They won ugly, but they still won.

Go 'Noles!

And we have BYU next week, out west. My nerves can’t handle this.

At least the team and coaches get some time to rest and prepare for BYU.

The crowd for the game was very disappointing I thought. Student section was pretty empty, but I suppose the weather didn’t help things.

Very disappointing game; it felt like a loss even if we did win. Hopefully it was a combination of just a 5 day week and looking ahead to BYU, and is not an indication of what to expect the rest of the season.

Secondary still needs a lot of work.

I decided to go. Yes it was pouring but there were tons of students cheering where I was at (first row, north endzone). It wasn’t as loud as the miami game but honestly too many people, including myself, were disappointed to be excited

BYU will be an interesting game, the secondary needs a lot of work.

USF today allotted another 1000 tickets for the FSU football game Sept 26 that is scheduled to start at noon at Doak Campbell. USF has gone through between 12-13,000 tickets. More student tickets probably would have been sold at USF if the ticket price was less than the $52 being charged.

Almost forgot. Everyone at USF is rooting for FSU to beat BYU!

^Of course. A loss to a ranked team looks much better than one to an unranked team. ;)

Yes, that $52 is also the cost of a guest ticket if an FSU student requests student guest tiickets. No ticket for that game goes for less than $52 in the entire stadium, unless you are a member of the kids club. The university does give tickets away to unprivileged groups in Leon and surrounding counties. But technically, alll tickets are the same price. Now, you do have to pay a whopping booster fee for good seat, but the face value of every ticket in the house is $52.

The BYU game is going to be on the Versus sports channel. Apparently, the conference that BYU is in will NOT let SunSports or any other network even broadcast the game in tape delay or in rerun or online. Versus is on most Comcast lineups–I think it is owned by Comcast. I had not heard of it until I looked it up., It is on 700 something on my channel lineup–I never go past about 75!!! I think you need a cable box to watch it. It will be on the radio on FSU football radio channels.

[ESPN360[/url] may allow fans to watch it (somewhat) live over the Internet.

The BYU game is not an ESPN game and will not be accessable via ESPN360. CBS owns the BYU conference rights.

Looks like you’re right about the BYU game and ESPN360, sunny. Good thing to remember for other games though.

Unfortunately, the UM - Ga Tech game WAS on ESPN. Ugh. Ga Tech did not do us any favors. FSU on paper should be accomplishing what UM is doing so far this year…

If FSU wins the rest will take care of itself. The BYU game is a huge opportunity for the 'Noles and I think they know it. We’ll see.

Great road win against a highly ranked opponent. Very nice for the Seminoles. This was a "[Sod Game](<a href="http://www.seminoles.com/trads/fsu-trads-cemetery.html]Sod">http://www.seminoles.com/trads/fsu-trads-cemetery.html)".</p>
