Who is my advisor?

I have to email my advisor about something, but WA says I haven’t been assigned one. I assumed my advisor was the person at registration, but now I’m not sure.

@vkugal Yes it’s the one you met at registration. The information may not have been updated on WA yet, but you can ask the front desk if you are concerned about it.

It’s the one you met with when you registered, yes! WA is notorious for updating about 65 years after something actually happens. Do you remember even the first or last name of your adviser? It’s not hard to find an email address if you do.

@agriffith You’re on a role with my questions! I’m going to thank you here for all your answers because they were all really helpful and very informative. Yes, I knew her name, but I guess I have this “do not approach your future professor unless your question is really smart and relevant” so I was terrified that she’d think I’m stupid or something… yeah, I know, ridiculous thinking.

Worked out though! I got an answer from her!

@vkugal No worries! I know it’s a stressful process and it’s always nice to have answers. They never do, I’ve asked some pretty stupid questions in my time there and they’re all well-received, regardless. That’s one more thing I love about it. I’m so glad you heard from her and just let me know if you’ve got any more questions!
