As Virtuoso said, aiming for 2200 but will probably get mid to upper 2100s.

after 22 practice tests, i think i am ready for 2400...
For me studying for the SAT really helped my confidence as I found out what I could achieve by planning my own schedule and working hard towards my goal.

aznN3rd, did you finish all the tests from the blue book n the sat online course?
do u have any good vocab lists?

i did 7 tests from bb, 10 from pr book, and 5 from online course. I get my vocab from the SC questions which I use as flashcards if i dont know the meaning. Also, the pr vocab list is pretty helpful, at least for pr tests.

What score did you start with? PSAT?

I've done all the math and writing mc sections in the blue book + a few from the online course, but I still feel unprepared! Why is this!? :( I haven't practiced writing essays though. I'll do a few between now and test day though. CR i'm not worried about.

Is anyone planning to take the ACTs too?

I got 1880 whem I took the PSAT frosh year.

I am NOT ready. I studied in summer and then school started and I felt lazy..kind of ironic. I'm aiming for 2100 but unless I start studying again I think I'll get around 2000. And I registered too late so now I have to go like 20 minutes out of my way instead of 2. But I guess it doesn't matter since the test will take like 4 hours anyway..ugh

I was going to take the October test...but when I went to school to register; the lady told me that I was 12 hours late; they sent the forms the day before. I was told that if I were to attend then I'd have to pay them $100 cash on the test day...I decided not to attend because:
A) My parents were not going to pay an extra 100 dollars
B) I'm not ready for the test anyway.

stuck-on-1700, why can't you sign up online?

what's the difference, the late fee online is only $20...

stuck on 1700: didnt you take the test like 10 times already?

Need to raise math score, hopefully by 50 points. I haven't actually studied, though. Maybe if I sleep with the blue book under my pillow, I'll become a math genius by osmosis.

Luckily I did pretty well on the other two sections the first time without prepping or anything, so I can just focus on the impending torture that is mathematics.

during practice, My CR scores from the blue book are coming erratic - some time I donot do any mistakes but sometimes my mistakes are as high as 5-6.. This makes me nervous as I donot know what would be my performance in the actual test.. anyone else facing the same situation ?

don't you need a credit card for that? And that's something my parents don't have - or don't want to get.

yes.

10 times? Exaggeration or..?

actually, I've taken it 6 times so far...but combined with the 5 I'll be taking this year (2 of which will be SAT II); it'll be a total of eleven times.(which should have been 12 btw)

yaa not ready AT ALL. i got a 1980 my first time... aiming for a 2000 (doesnt sound too hard, right? however, i feel like the june test was easy and my score was a fluke.. and i feel like ill do worse..)

but i should reallllly start studying. maybe tonight. =D hehe
