I am! :)
I'm not excited, but eh...I'm going to be a senior so hopefully I'll get my scores back fast before I send in my applications.

I am taking the Sept ACT!!
Kinda nervous thoo....

Yepp, taking for first time in September. I've been acing some practice tests so I'm really nervous and anxious. Im a little scared that I'm setting myself up for a let down =/

i m still thinking about it..... dont know if my reading score can improve before september >.<

im taking it...r ising junior hoping to see where I stand and improve from there!

I am ... im giving the ACT a try cuz i can not succeed on the SAT's for my life .. im goin to be a senior so hopefully when i get them back ill be happy and just send my apps. out .. im mainly doing the ACT to better my chances at Delaware .. and im using Barron's book which kicking my butt so hopefully ill be okay on the test

I am! Rising senior hoping for an improvement!

I got a 36 on the one in may but I missed 1 question on writing and my parents want me to retake because they think missing a question is not a perfect score. THey are real smart.

Wow, mutant are you serious? They're really going to make you take it again?!?

I'm taking it in Sept. for the very first time. I am a senior and I hope that i can do much better on it than the SAT!!

Mutant, that is stupid. tell your parents that a 36 ACT is an AWESOME score, no matter how many questions you missed to get it. I'm also taking it in September, hoping to improve on the April score. I was ****ed off, being one question (in any section) away from a 35.

im takin it again too. need to go from 30 to about 32-33

I'm taking it again. Why not?

Hey eaad! "im takin it again too. need to go from 30 to about 32-33"

me too.

I'm taking it again. I'm in about the same situation as u niloy.ghosh518. Got 33.5 1st time, 34.25 second time. Heh heh, if I improve that much again, I'd get a 36...keepin' my fingers crossed.

Wow, mutant ur parents are crazy. Although, I have a friend who got a 36, and he took it again just to see if he could get another 36...he did...lol.

"I got a 36 on the one in may but I missed 1 question on writing and my parents want me to retake because they think missing a question is not a perfect score. THey are real smart."

the colleges don't care at all... as long as your combined english/writing score is a 32+ and your composite is good (which a 36 is), then you're set... but oh well.

im going all out studying this time for the sept ones

I am hoping to go from a 30 to a 32-33 like the other posters haha. I have bought 4 prep books, so I hope the practice will pay off for the real thing.

If anyone needs old prep booklets, i found pdfs for 05-06 and 06-07. The 08-09 booklet is available on the site now too.

but aren't all those practice tests the same?
