Who is the lucky one....

I am starting to prepare my plan of action just in case I get deferred from my top choice university. I have two teachers lined up to write an additional letter of recommendation for me but I don’t know who to pick. Also, the university has three total letters on file previously submitted by me (GC, English teacher and Bio teacher) and we are only required to submit one. In your opinion, would submitting an extra letter be too much? And if not which teacher should I ask to write me one? Both would write equally good letters except for my spanish teacher claims she is a published writer- not too sure about that claim but whatever.

we were talking about my college choice and i expressed my uncertainty of getting in EA and she offered to write me a letter should I get deferred. She proceeded to tell me that she would focus the letter on my tutoring of younger spanish students.

So, I ask your opinion of which one YOU think would be the better choice in my situation.

Thanks.

Don’t submit any more. YOu’ve already exceeded what they recommend – your desperation will be too obvious. Good luck though.

I wouldn’t send an extra rec letter, but if you want to, I don’t think it’ll hurt you.

And if you’re going to send one, it seems like you already know who you want…(re-read what you wrote - spanish teacher offered to write a good rec, published write etc, nothing from wind teacher)
