I'm workin' for that 700+ CR, currently about 670, and my worst sections are the short reading. There's not enough info, too much inferencing, and I just draw all the wrong conclusions.

What are your secrets for nailing this section??

Thanks!!

Don't ask me. I barely score half your verbal score.

^ Lol, then don't feel obliged to reply. :-) Maybe I could help YOU. hehe.

But seriously guys...this is un problemo. Can anyone help?

I scored a 780 on CR, and I just try to make sure i understand where the authors of the passages are coming from. If you clearly understand the author's point of view and purpose, it makes it easier. I hope that helps.

anything else? Its so hard to interpret

Don't overthink a question because if you do that, all of the answer choices will start to look right. Try to eliminate answer choices that seem wrong before looking for the right answer. If you try to choose the right answer before eliminating any of the answer choices, you will get stuck on two or three of the choices. It can get complicated, but I'm not sure what else to tell you.
