who do you think- the poor minorities or the middle to upper class minorities
i'm almost positive its the latter

Agreed. The middle/upper class minorities have the money to pay for the school, so the school accepts them. The poor minorities don’t, and thusly get rejected.

Now obviously this isn’t true for everybody.

:3 I guess I get to reap the benefits of affirmative action, then. Yay for being Latina and female applying to a school in a state where Hispanic people barely exist. xD

The middle/upper class, people with only fractional URM heritage, and well to do foreigners with backgrounds considered as URMs in the context of the United States.

native americans

Wealthy, white legacies and potential development cases. Do you really think the governing elite would design a system that is opposed to its own interests (i.e. continuing being the governing elite)?

Because of gender balancing, white men are the new beneficiaries of AA especially at LACs

AA reminds me of how much I love NYU.
Its applicant pool is so huge and diverse that it doesn’t need to lower admissions standards.
