Who recommends the Direct Hits US History in a Flash book?

I wondered if this was a good resource – or if there are others you would recommend instead? Thanks.

AMSCO and Crash Course are recommended as well.

Direct Hits is a great book. I studied out of that, the Crash Course, and a bit with the Sparknotes guide to AP U.S. History, and I got a 760 on the SAT II and almost definitely a 5 on the AP. Note that history is my least favorite/worst subject.

Thanks to both of you. I’ll get Direct Hits now and maybe Crash Course later. Great scores, burgerking!

I highly recommend Direct Hits. A certain 5 on the AP Test and a 750+ on the June SAT II. Read it through once or twice before the exam and you’re set.

Amsco is the best. Idk about the one you said.

im self-studying so i guess imma get amsco and direct hits

AMSCO is the best if you’re a history lover with too much time on your hands. DH is the best for students who want a quick, easy way to get 5’s on the AP and mid-to-high-700’s and 800’s on the Subject Test. I highly recommend DH over AMSCO (and any other APUSH prep book).

I am in love with Direct Hits!!! I used it and it helped me a lot (on practice tests!) I’m not sure about the ap exam though. But in addition to using Direct Hits, i would suggest REA Crash Course (VERY OPTIONAL) and absolutely AMSCO. I liked sparknotes for the practice tests (just for sat ii though) … good luck :D
