For me, the time to transfer to a four year university is quickly approaching. I have great stats, excellent ECs, and some leadership experience. I know that letters of recommendation will also play a big part as to whether or not I will be accepted to where I apply. So far, four people come to mind:

1. The president of my college- I have spent a great deal of time with the president. In April, I was selected to be a part of a group of students who traveled up to Harrisburg to lobby for more funding for PA community colleges.

2. The VP of Academic Affairs- I have also spent time with the VP of Academic Affairs. Since I know the president so well, I have also met the VP several times. We keep in contact with each other.

3. The head of Student Affairs- Through my Spring 2014 Leadership Class, Residence Hall Council,

4. My chemistry professor- I have had my chemistry professor for General Chemistry I and II, or one full semester. Throughout both semesters, I came to his office as often as I conversed with him in person and through email. I consider him to be my favorite professor. He has also written recommendations for me in the past (he wrote my recommendation for the aforementioned non-credit Spring 2014 Leadership Class and for my RA position in the dorms; with the help of his recommendations, I was accepted into the Leadership Class, and I was hired as an RA starting this semester).

Who should I ask for recommendations from? I will definitely ask my professor as schools usually require one LOR from a professor.
