who should I contact?

So I am looking to transfer to engineering, and someone on a previous post of mine said this:

"At summer orientation, go to the engineering transfer seminar. They'll re-evaluate your application and probably let you in (happened to me. went from liberal arts --> biomedical engineering). you save a semester this way."

The thing is, I'm attending the latest summer orientation session b/c I can't afford to keep traveling from texas to home, so I was wondering if there is anyone I can contact via email about possibly doing this, and if so, who/what department should I contact? Also, is it possible to transfer to engineering for the spring (I think that's what it's called) semester, because I really want to get this done asap.

thanks and sorry for my frequent questions. I just really want to get this all organized and am really stressing about not getting into the school I want via transfer!

hookemhorns23 I’m in the same boat as you, but right now I’m in liberal arts and I want to go to McCombs, and as an international student I’m also in the last orientation session, so what they told me was to contact the department in which you are, in this case Liberal Arts, and they will answer any doubts you have about your transfer.

They also told me that transfers are just accepted for the fall.

when you say transfers are just accepted for the fall, does that mean that we can still transfer for THIS fall semester or do I have to wait till NEXT fall semester to transfer. And who do I contact at CNS (where I am)? There are a lot of names on the website, so who in particular would I contact (i.e. the dean, or what?)

Also, I think we’re in slightly different situations because I saw data about spring transfers for engineering, so perhaps for engineering I can transfer for spring, but for business, they are only taken in fall? I dunno

anyone willing to help please?
