Went from a 740 W in April to a 670 this time, and essay only went down one point... I can't believe I missed that many multi-choice questions...

something must be going on with the tests... if collegeboard messed up again i think that will be the end of them and the sat, ACT will reign supreme :)

So how do we let the CB know that a lot of people think their scores are not accurate, aside from paying them $50 a piece... This almost seems fishy- funky scores=more hand-checked score verifications=kaching for CB... hey, I'm paranoid.

Is anyone suspicious of their math scores as well, or am I being too optimistic? :-) Interesting that the testing errors happened for the October test last year.

im personally hoping collegeboard goes under cause i hate standardized testing, its not a real or accurate show of what a person is really like

wow! I guess i'm not the only one. Well I decided to call collegeboard. Heres a summary of what I was told:

The scores are accurate, but I can challenge it. He said that I was the only one to call about inaccurate scores so far. He said only way I would know is to pay 50$ and it'll take around 4 weeks for them to handgrade it.

HMMM! I say we all call collegeboard and complain about our writing score. Something is DEFINITELY fishy if all of us got low scores on the writing when a lot of you had very nice scores previously.

Well we all hope that collegeboard messed up. The thing I want to know is whether in the past, collegeboard had recognized a messup and changed the score for everybody. Or do they ALWAYS require students to order the handcheck scoring. (this is gonna affect my ED application)

collegeboard seems to mess up alot...

either that or you all messed up on the questions... and cb is right... or that could be what they say and don't let you do handchecked... XD

"Did you include examples from life and literature? like- two from each? And was your essay the full 2 pages? I have a hunch that they do go by the length of the essay. Good luck on attempting to find out what is wrong with your scores- if anything."

lol.. that's not true.. When I took the SAT in April.. my essay was 3/4 of a page long.. and I got a 12..

i would like to know how big your handwriting is
