Who sits behind you?

In your 3rd period?

3rd is Calc for me, and behind me is a senior who's really good in school but doesn't apply himself. He's what you'd consider the typical "I really don't care about school" kid. Every once in a while he'll come to school only to come to Calc (our teacher is great), other times he'll show up to 1st period stoned. He applied to Stanford but was rejected (part of our school's unfortunate blockout from Stanford this year and somewhat of a surprise, actually), and I just realized I actually don't know where he's going instead. Great kid, though, always nice and scored high on all his tests (out of school). I think he pulled a very decent proportion of As through all 4 years.

You?

No one, I sit in the back row :) 3rd period is Geology for me and I DESPISE that class, so I purposefully chose to sit in the back so I can stealthily work on other homework when my teacher is talking.

I sit in the ABSOLUTE LAST SEAT (7th actually) in American lit. We got to choose our seats the first day-I didn't sit there to be a slacker or whatever, just that it was about 100 degrees and the only place the fan works is RIGHT behind me. So yeah, the fan is the only person behind me.

In front is a girl I've known since like kindergarten (we didn't go to ms), who is generally nice, but sort of annoying

Noone. It's psych. I sit in the back of the class and sleep, as does EVERYBODY else in that class. It's the worst blowoff ever.

i also have(had) calc third hour. sat in the back row. after the first two weeks of class i decided that the teacher had no clue what calc is and couldn't teach to save his life. lucky for me all the tests were scantron, and my Ti-89TI was my brain. bought the teachers homework guide that has all the work done in it, and i was set.

so thrid hour i slept until he woke me up and made me switch seats with someone in the front(where i went right back to sleep, didn't really see why it mattered where i was, or why he didn't adapt his behavior to what i did and just let me stay in the back).

but then a junior sat behind me, he copied every word the guy said, problems...everything. asked tons of questions, blah blah...lowest grade i got on a test was a 93, he was struggling to get C's...

No one. Last person in my row for third period (calculus). My friend used to sit behind me for a brief time but then the teacher made her move since we were talking too much...

-The Last Coot66

Looks like CCers tend to like the back row, excuses or not. =P

What about in front then, oh anti-conformist rebels? =)

We have circle tables and I only sit next to one other person. My 3rd period is Math Intergrated II - I'm a sophomore. He is a senior and he brings his laptop to school during that class and watches movies, plays video games, and works on other classwork. He has a bad grade in math I think.

But yeah that class is horrible. The teacher is horrible.. She doesn't even care if the kids turn on the tv and watch The Fresh Prince of Bel Air every single day. And she screams at you if you get a problem wrong. She'll always be like "what were you thinking?"

Spare 3rd period :]

In every other class though... everyone. I love front row seats!!!

A lot of CCers don't need their teachers & do homework/sleep in class. I have World Lit, but it's arranged seating so I'm in the front, right next to the teacher's desk! D: Luckily she's pretty cool. Behind me is one of my friends who seems to really want to be a doctor (we're sophomores). Pretty high achiever, going to be drum major for band next year and has straight A's.

I sit in the front, Psych class :)

Usually asleep cause im in the first row, but all the way to the left.
And and the teacher is at her desk all the way to the right, or in the middle. She doesn't usually look at me.

The class was really easy :) (as was the AP test)

Behind me, some fillipina girl is always talking to the guy next to her. Its only a matter of time before I see them making out.

Edit: in all my other classes im in the middle-ish, next to my friends.

3rd period is Calculus for me as well.

I sit in the back of the class. The person in front of me is a junior (I'm a senior) who doesn't understand even one caculus concept, and is failing the course. It's kind of sad, because he could've taken pre-calculus and done so well.

haha...i'm in the back row too.

I have(had) gym third.

A day - English ... its a white girl on the basketball team. She has a very Texan accent. She's also nice and cool.

B day - study period

Ap English Lit.

I sit in the back too.

My girlfriend sits in front of me though, and for some strange odd reason its my favorite class ;)

I don't sit in rows in my 3rd period. We sit in tables facing each other.

I've got Spanish, and my friend who is super super nice sits behind me.

Calculus. We have no sitting chart: people sit whenever they want to sit.

3rd period I have gym. Sooo, no one really sits behind me.
